The Essex Studios is a former warehouse that in 2000 was converted into over 100 art studios. Our non-profit organization, Essex Studios Artist Group (ESAG) consists of the 100+ visual and performing artists, and arts organizations who are tenants at Essex Studios. ESAG is the result of the artists of Essex Studios coming together to form a nonprofit organization in an effort to form a sense of community amongst fellow artists, as well as an organization that has the interest of all of the visual, performing artists and arts organizations of Essex Studios at its heart and soul. The Essex Studios Artists Group is proud to sponsor the Essex Studios Art Walks, in which all of the art studios are open for the general public to walk through on select weekends throughout the year, as well as several community and educational outreach programs throughout the Greater Cincinnati Area.

The purpose of this organization is to promote the artists of Essex Studios, and make Essex Studios Artist events accessible.  Our organization strives to provide resources and assistance to Essex Studio Artists who are interested in educational and community outreach programs for arts and culture within the Greater Cincinnati Area.  We feel that together through visual and performing arts, we can help to create a more desirable community in which to live, play and work.
