Join 120+ artists at this Friday & Saturday, May 3-4, 2013 from 6pm-11pm
May 3-4 Art Walk: BLOOM showcases floral, spring and summer artworks. In its 2nd year, BLOOM takes root!
Special events include a silent auction in Michael Weber's Studio 213. Michael Weber and his brother Bob Schaedler are long-time Resident Artists of Essex Studios. Michael has worked with many area arts organizations including Visionaries + Voices and more recently, Thunder-Sky, Inc. Artworks spanning Michael's life will be included and proceeds help fund Michael's trip to Japan next year.
Stop into Studio 188 to watch and/or participate in the creation of an art mural. Local artists from Higher Level Art collaborate with Essex Studios Resident Artist, Aaron Kent of DIY Printing, to create a fantastic work of art directly onto the walls of Studio 188. Outside the DIY Printing studio an area will be setup for kids to create a mural too.
